Illuminating Futures in Mesquita (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)
In the heart of the city of Mesquita, where resilience meets the forgotten favelas (slums), Dunamis Connections stands shoulder to shoulder with the Vida Plena de Mesquita Association, breathing life into a community that has been overlooked for far too long. Led by the unwavering vision of Pastors Syl Farney and Patricia da Silva, leaders of the "Comunidade Evangélica de Mesquita" church, the Association becomes a beacon of hope, aiming to rewrite the narrative of extreme poverty, abuse, abandonment, and drug trafficking.

The Association strives to pave a sustainable path for future generations, believing that every individual possesses the inherent ability to carve out a bright future. The Association stands as a catalyst, making those possibilities tangible.

In the pursuit of this vision, the Association employs a multifaceted approach encompassing education, sports, psychological care, ministry, opportunities, and relationships. LEVICA Project
Providing psychological care for children and teenagers who are victims of violence and abuse, as well as offering support for their families and/or caregivers.
SEMEAR Project
Offering school tutoring and learning support for children in the surrounding communities as a means to reduce school dropout rates and enhance knowledge.
RECRIANDO Project
Providing Jiu-Jitsu, soccer, ballet, arts, and jewelry classes, along with other recreational activities, for children and teenagers.

Building Dreams in 2024:
In the year 2024, our mission takes us to Brazil, where our teams, fueled by passion and purpose, will embark on a journey to assist with the ongoing projects at Vida Plena. Together, we will minister to the local people and also help with the construction of purposeful spaces – classrooms, an auditorium, and offices – enabling them to focus wholeheartedly on their divine calling: to change lives.
