Every trip is unique. Typically, we engage in construction, technological, medical, educational, ministry, or agricultural projects during the day and some evenings. Occasionally, evenings are free, providing opportunities to interact with locals or relax with the team. Additionally, we allocate time, usually at the end, for processing the trip, shopping, and enjoying the beauties of the destination.
-
There are no language requirements; we will have a translator with us on the trips to interpret for the team when needed.
-
Once you are registered for a trip, we will send you an individualized donation URL that you can post on social media and share with friends, relatives, colleagues, churches, or business owners who would like to support you.
Additionally, we offer to send donation letters from our office on your behalf to a list of names and addresses provided by you. We add a short description of the trip and give them the opportunity to invest financially. Over the years, we have found that this method remains the most effective way to fundraise for a trip.
-
In general, the trips are all-inclusive, covering airfare (economy class), accommodations, meals, transportation in the destination, activities, and basic travel insurance. There may be additional costs such as a visa, depending on the country.
-
Payments and donations can be made through your donation URL or by check through the mail. Payments must adhere to the payment plan you will receive upon registering, and you should be 100% funded one month prior to departure.
-
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. In the event that a participant’s involvement with a trip/program ends prior to the completion, regardless of the circumstances, all funds raised will be released from restriction into Dunamis Connections’ General Fund and used to support the trip/program for which they were intended.
All donations made in excess of a participant’s original goal will automatically be directed to the General Fund to support the ministry of Dunamis Connections. If a participant is accepted into an additional trip/program and makes a commitment, a new goal will be assigned. All donations made in excess of the original goal and prior to the establishment of the new goal must remain in the Dunamis General Fund.

It’s important to begin preparing physically for a trip. You should exercise, drink plenty of water, and maintain a well-balanced diet in the lead-up to the trip to ensure your immune system is intact. Adequate rest is also essential. In the days preceding the trip, make sure your body is well-rested.
