Our history

The story of Dunamis Connections began with a vision to bring about lasting change in underdeveloped nations. In 1985, our founders, Henry & Diane Fisher, embarked on a transformative journey fueled by a belief in the untapped potential within every individual.

Over the years, our founders witnessed firsthand the resilience and strength embedded in communities facing significant challenges. They believe that powerful connections are key to moving forward and achieving victory. Because of this, the Fishers have been bringing available solutions and resources to those who need them most, unleashing the potential of future generations within these communities.

Our founders

Founded on the principles of faith, empowerment, and community, Henry & Diane Fisher are the driving forces behind Dunamis Connections.

Henry was born into an Amish family in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He embarked on a personal journey of rebellion, soul-searching, and, ultimately, a profound encounter with Jesus Christ. This encounter became the cornerstone of his commitment to live for Christ and minister God's Word globally. Henry has traveled to many nations teaching Kingdom culture and how to be an influence in your environment.

Diane, his partner in life and mission, has been an integral part of the Dunamis Connections story, bringing her unique strengths and compassion to the organization. Together, they have navigated the challenges and triumphs of empowering individuals and communities for over four decades.

Projects

Today, Dunamis Connections continues to build upon the legacy of our founders. Based in Southlake, Texas, we are actively engaged in projects that aim to bring about spiritual, physical, and emotional change and to develop communities for self-sustainability. Our main focus is currently on the nations of Brazil, India, and South Africa. The projects span diverse areas, including entrepreneurship, education, sports, medical outreach, ministry, and community development.

Leadership development

For more than 40 years, Henry & Diane have traveled to various countries. Henry's teachings concentrate on Kingdom Culture, Leadership, and how to understand God’s purpose for their lives and in turn to become an influence for God’s Kingdom. People are always challenged to pursue their God-given dreams.

Our involvement within these nations includes leadership events, staff and volunteer training, pastor conferences, business and entrepreneurship events, revival meetings, church services, and other church events. Besides that, we customize experiences for teams to develop their leadership skills.
